It depends on the country where you take your tests.

Yes. For your first (complete) lab visit the home kit is required, not optional. It is shipped to you for the urine and saliva samples included in that panel: you collect them at home on the morning of your lab visit and bring them with you (they cannot be done at the lab), and only the blood draw happens at the lab. Delivery is free, and the kit usually arrives within 3 to 6 days. The kit ships anywhere in the EU, so your country of residence does not matter: it is posted to your home address (for example in Luxembourg or Belgium) even when you test at a partner lab in France.

Your second (follow-up) visit is a blood draw only; it does not include urine or saliva, so no home kit ships for it. A kit ships again only if you upgrade the follow-up to the complete panel. See What does my second lab visit include?

No home kit is needed. Your samples are collected directly at the partner laboratory (no saliva test is included in the UK offer), so nothing is shipped to your home.

No home kit is needed either: the dedicated Portugal offer is handled entirely at the partner laboratory.

The gut microbiome test is self-collected at home: a home kit ships once your order is confirmed. Each kit includes clear, step-by-step instructions and everything needed to collect and return your sample. Kits are typically delivered within 3 to 9 working days, depending on where you live, and you return the sample yourself by post using the prepaid envelope; you do not bring it to your lab visit.

The IgG food sensitivity panel, on the other hand, does not require a home kit: it is a blood analysis run at the lab at the same time as your blood draw, so nothing is shipped to you for this add-on.
