You can do the urine test during your period, but it’s not ideal. We generally recommend doing it just after your period because the results are more reliable hormonally, and it also avoids any risk of blood contaminating the sample. If your cycle is irregular and you can’t wait, you can still proceed as long as your flow isn’t too heavy. Just make sure to follow the hygiene instructions carefully to reduce the chance of contamination. To limit the presence of blood in your urine sample, please collect a midstream sample only.
