My results are ready but my protocol isn't available yet — what's happening?

Receiving a "results available" notification is great news — it means your lab results have been received and validated. However, your full health protocol (personalised recommendations) may not be immediately accessible at the same time.

Here's why, and what to expect.

Why aren't my results and protocol available at the same time?

At Lucis, your results go through two distinct stages:

  1. Lab results reception — Your blood, urine, and saliva samples are analysed by the laboratory. Once all results are received and validated by our system, you receive a notification.

  2. Protocol preparation — After your results are confirmed, our medical team reviews your biomarkers and generates your personalised health protocol. This step takes 1 to 2 additional weeks after your results are received.

This is why you may receive a results notification before your full protocol is ready — the two steps are separate.

What can I access right now?

Once your results notification is sent, you can typically access:

  • Your individual biomarker values in the app

  • Any flagged out-of-range results

Your personalised protocol and recommendations will be unlocked once the medical review is complete.

How long will I wait for my protocol?

  • Discovery plan: Protocol typically available within 2 to 4 working days after results are confirmed.

  • Care plan: Protocol typically ready 1 to 2 weeks after results are confirmed.

If your protocol hasn't appeared after this timeframe, please contact our support team.

I can't see any of my results in the app — is that normal?

If you received a results notification but cannot see any documents or biomarker data in the app, this may be a technical issue. Please contact our support team directly — this is not expected behaviour and we'll investigate promptly.
