Medical Order & GP Consultation

In most cases, you do not need to book a separate appointment with your GP to obtain a prescription for the Lucis blood draw.

How the medical order works

  • The medical order required by the laboratory is issued by a physician associated with our partner laboratory;

  • This is done in accordance with standard laboratory procedures and applicable regulations;

  • This step is administrative and required for the blood draw to take place.

Important to know

  • This process does not constitute a medical consultation;

  • It does not replace your usual medical follow-up or care.

When to consult your doctor

  • If you have existing medical conditions;

  • If you have concerns about whether the tests are appropriate for you;

  • If you have medical questions related to your results.

Sharing your results

  • You can export your results as a PDF from your Lucis account;

  • You are encouraged to share and discuss them with your doctor or healthcare professional.
