Supplements: What to stop and when?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

To ensure accurate results, we recommend stopping all supplements 3 days before your blood test.

Stop 72 hours before:

  • Vitamins (e.g. B12, D, C…)

  • Minerals (e.g. magnesium, zinc, iron…)

  • Omega-3s or fish oils

  • Adaptogens (e.g. ashwagandha, rhodiola…)

  • Probiotics, green powders, or herbal blends

You can continue:

  • Doctor-prescribed medications

  • Ongoing treatments recommended by your healthcare provider

What if I forgot to stop them?

No worries.

Some markers (like B12) may appear higher than normal, but our medical team will take this into account when analyzing your results.
